Do You Have Bad Gas?

 

"Bad Gas", stale fuel and fuel related problems are very common service issues in lawn  garden equipment. The solution that will save you $$$$ in repair costs is simple!

 

     * Never use fuel that was purchased more than 30 days ago

     *  Use a clean plastic fuel container to store your fuel

     *  Add fuel stabilizer to your fuel purchase

Are You Ready For The Mowing Season?

 

Walk-behind Lawn Mowers:

    

     *  Clean under deck

     *  Change engine oil and replace oil filter (if equipped)

     *  Inspect air filter - clean or replace as necessary

     *  Inspect spark plug(s) and change if necessary

     *  Inspect and adjust throttle cable, clutch and transmission controls

     *  Inspect wheels

     *  Sharpen blade

     *  Add fuel stabilizer

     *  Test machine for overall operation

 

Tractors:

 

     *  Change engine oil and replace oil filter (if equipped)

     *  Inspect air filter - clean or replace as necessary

     *  Change fuel filter

     *  Inspect spark plug(s) and change if necessary

     *  Check transmission/hydraulic fluid level and filter - change if

         necessary (if equipped)

     *  Check coolant level - change if necessary (if water cooled model)

     *  Inspect charging system - including battery, terminals and cables

     *  Inspect muffler and engine mounting

     *  Check for any sign of rodent nests or damage

     *  Inflate tires to proper pressure

     *  Clean grass from under mower deck

     *  Sharpen blades

     *  Inspect all belts, pulley, idlers and spindles

     *  Check mower deck level

     *  Lubricate tractor and mower

     *  Add fuel stabilizer
